Owner of Rift Studios and PNW native. Vacey took over what was once Roo Events and reshaped it into the inclusive and welcoming community it is today! Growing it from roughly 2.7k members to over 22k. What started as a rebrand became a fresh vision for what Minecraft events could be.

As Owner, Vacey oversees the business side of Rift. Finances, budgeting, and long-term planning. Making sure the studio stays sustainable and positioned to keep growing. He serves as Rift's primary point of contact and voice, working alongside his managers and leadership to ensure every project reflects the values on which Rift was built.

Our resident processes encyclopaedia, Wallace handles all staff operations. From application to departure she guides each and every member through their time at Rift, ensuring that our teams have all the talent they need to flourish. Additionally, Wallace oversees all of our Community Management, focusing on facilitating enjoyable game nights and positive engagement within our rich community.

Hubbley is a Virginia native, career communications strategist, and self-described lover of complex team management. As Chief Operating Officer of Rift Studios, he leads the day-to-day operations that turn the studio's creative ambitions into achievable, structured work. With all project management under his belt, he helps the creatives of Rift Studios organize and execute their vision for what's possible in Minecraft.

With roughly six years of experience as a marketing strategist and visual storyteller, Hubbley brings a project management backbone to a creative environment that often resists one. That means translating sprawling ideas, from custom MythicMobs systems to full resource pack overhauls to entire event productions, into plans the team can actually build against. He works alongside co-executives Vacey and Wallace to build the governance, systems, and internal structure that let Rift's builders, designers, and eventmakers focus on the work itself instead of the machinery behind it.

Outside of Rift, Hubbley works in political and advocacy communications, a background that shapes how he approaches team structure, messaging, and high-stakes execution here. He believes the same thing is true in game development as it is in organizing: complex efforts need someone willing to hold direction and structure so the people doing the gritty work can do it well.
